Valentine Golinelli is a Swiss-born, Mexico City–based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans screen printing, embroidery, textile installations, and mixed media. Through her work, she explores urgent social issues with a particular focus on women’s rights and collective memory.
After earning her diploma in Plastic Arts in Switzerland, Valentine spent a decade working on site social projects dedicated to empowering women and help marginalized communities. Those experiences deeply inform her artistic approach, where creation becomes both a form of resistance and a catalyst for dialogue.
Her art functions as a tool to break stigmas and taboos, explore the memory of collective trauma, and reimagine narratives that challenge the structures of contemporary society.
